What's the best way to maintain my carpets in between cleanings?

Vacuuming

     We recommend vacuuming daily if not 2-3 times a week at a minimum with a beater bar upright or attachment.  When vacuuming you need to go slow over the traffic lanes, hitting them from all angles .By vacuuming at least six to eight strokes over each area is one of the best ways to prolong the  life of your carpets. Why vacuum so much? Because dry soil has razor-like edges that cut and scar the fibers of your carpet. By removing the abrasive material regularly you minimize its constant damaging effects.

Placement of floor mats

        Preventing soil from entering a building in the first place means carpet cleaning can be less frequent. Mats should placed at the entrances of your home both inside and out. This protects carpet a multitude of soils and substances that will spot, stain and wear. We recommend slippers or taking off your outside footwear all together as you enter your house.©

Spot Removal

    Treat spots and stains as soon as they occur with our FREE bottle of professional strength spotter.  Our "all purpose" spotter is  a  water based product that  removes even the most stubborn oil and water based stains fast, so you can get on with your cleaning. Our spotter is effective on many stains including blood, protein stains, grass stains, iodine, coffee, tea, wine, milk, cola, catsup, grease, oil, shoe polish, crayon, latex paint, chocolate, raw egg, wax, and more. Will not remove dye or indelible ink. Be sure to wipe up spills before they have a chance to dry. Below are the steps we suggest to properly remove spots from your carpets and upholstery.
